Ecolab now certified as a Great Place to Work® in 25 European countries!

Over 4,000 of Ecolab employees across Europe took part in the recent Great Place to Work® survey to share their experience of working with Ecolab. Here are some of their highlights:

AN INCLUSIVE AND SUPPORTIVE WORKPLACE:

80% of participants say they can be themselves, and that they can count on and support each other. Katharina Reiche, Territory Manager in Germany, explains: “We combine freedom, individuality, professionalism, and fun. At Ecolab, we perform at our best when we can approach our tasks creatively and autonomously”.

89% of participants perceive that management promotes inclusive behaviour and avoids discrimination. Katie Potter, who works in the U.K. as a Collections Manager and has been with Ecolab for six years, adds: “We empower our employees by ensuring a sense of belonging and providing a Diversity, Equality & Inclusion culture.”

“We are a great place to work because we understand how to work as a team. Through my four years in Ecolab, I learned that together we make a bigger impact!”, says Agustina Cheves, Marketing Manager in Spain.

 

A TEAM UNITED BY A CLEAR SENSE OF PURPOSE:

Joachim Burger, VP HR Ecolab Europe, comments: “I am extremely proud of this certification. It is a true representation of our culture and the talented people we have here who are making the difference.”

Cynthia Boachie-Tuffour, Customer Service Agent based in Germany, comments: “We work with employees of all experience levels and backgrounds to achieve goals that go beyond profit, like water preservation.”

“We know that our daily actions help improve the efficiency and sustainability of our customers operations, and this drives us to always give our best!" explains Gabriele Cipollone, District Representative in Italy.

Overall, 80% of respondents in Europe said that Ecolab is a great place to work.
David Fazekas, Lead Customer Service Manager in Hungary adds: “Ecolab not only cares  about the future of the planet but also the future of their employees.”
