Skinsept® Pur
Preparation for skin disinfection
This medicine is used to disinfect the skin before surgery, injections, punctures, blood collection or dressing changes. Skinsept® Pur is a combination medicine which contains active substances with proven clinical efficacy. Its active substances (isopropanol, ethanol and benzyl alcohol) complement one another, ensuring the medicine’s broad-spectrum activity. Hydrogen peroxide, which is used as excipient, causes spontaneous sterilisation of the product, which persists even in the event of repeated infection with bacterial spores (e.g. when opening the packaging). The medicine is effective against the bacteria (including mycobacterium tuberculosis and MRSA), fungi and viruses present on the skin: Hepatitis B, HIV, Herpes, Rota, Adeno. Skinsept® Pur disinfects and degreases the skin.
